Clear SignalFAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions.

What is Clear Signal?

Clear Signal is a professional verification platform for creators. It gives creators a structured, brand-confirmed record of their collaboration history. A verified professional identity that brands and collaborators can trust. There are no anonymous reviews or public ratings. Every verified record is confirmed directly by the brand.

How does verification work?

When you add a collaboration to your Clear Signal record, you can submit a verification request to your brand contact. Clear Signal sends a single confirmation email to that contact. When they confirm, the collaboration is marked verified. That record then becomes available to publish on your public creator profile.

What does Clear Signal verify?

Clear Signal verifies that a collaboration took place and that the creator participated professionally. It does not rate creative quality, assess campaign performance, guarantee deliverable outcomes, or act as a review or dispute platform. Verification is a record of confirmed professional history, not an evaluation of subjective output.

Do brands need an account?

No. Brands do not need to create an account on Clear Signal. They receive a single confirmation email with a secure link and confirm with one click. The process is designed to be as simple as possible for brand contacts.

What appears on my public profile?

Your public profile shows your display name, username, bio, location, social handles, profile photo, and any verified collaboration records you have chosen to publish. Payment amounts, brand contact emails, internal notes, and unpublished records are never shown publicly.

Can I hide my profile?

Yes. You can hide your public profile at any time from your profile settings. When hidden, your profile is not accessible to the public. Your account and all internal records remain intact. You can restore visibility whenever you choose.

Are collaborations reviewed publicly?

No. Clear Signal is not a review platform. There are no public reviews, anonymous ratings, or brand feedback scores. Collaborations appear on your public profile only when brand-confirmed and explicitly published by you. The system is designed to record professional history, not opinions.

Is Clear Signal free during beta?

Yes. Clear Signal is currently free for all creators during the invite-only beta period. We may introduce paid features or tiers in the future and will communicate any changes to registered creators in advance.

How are badges earned?

The Verified Creator badge is earned by publishing a minimum number of brand-confirmed collaboration records to your public profile. The Repeat Collaborator badge is awarded when the same brand appears across multiple verified records. Badges are earned automatically based on your verified record. There is no application process.

Can I edit my creator URL?

Yes. Your public creator URL is based on your username, which you can change from your profile settings once every 30 days. When you change your username, your previous URL will redirect to your new profile for 60 days, preserving continuity for anyone who has shared your profile link.

What happens if a brand does not respond to a verification request?

If a brand contact does not respond to a verification request, the collaboration record remains in pending status on your dashboard. You can resend the verification request from your collaboration details page. Unconfirmed records are not published to your public profile and do not affect your verified creator status.
